GROUP CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 

The Pilates Method is a systematic approach. ​Joseph Pilates intended for his students to experience and utilize the Mat, Reformer, Cadillac (Tower), Chair, and Barrels to encompass the full benefit of his method, Contrology. 

In respect for our loyal clientele: If you have never experienced the apparatus, please sign up for an Intro Private or a designated beginner level class instead.

If you have any physical limitations or injuries, your first session MUST be a private appointment. We offer affordable Introductory Specials, please contact us to set up your one-on-one appointment. 



Our Certified Instructors will offer guidance through a series of exercises specifically tailored to match your ability level. The small class size guarantees that you'll receive plenty of guidance and support from our experienced instructors.

Reformer Level  1

 

New to Pilates? Or just want to get back to the basics and improve your practice? Learn the fundamental exercises on the reformer and how to engage your core properly. Become familiar with the Reformer Pilates method safely and more effectively for quicker results.
We know the Reformer can look and feel intimidating to newbies, this class is perfect for gaining confidence with working on the reformer.

 

Even seasoned/advanced Pilates students can gain more knowledge of revisiting the Pilates fundamentals. This refresher class will help your practice improve!

 

Reformer + Jump Board

Jump to the beat... Work up a sweat and add a little cardio to your life! Our Jump Board class is a fun and challenging alternative method to spice up your old boring cardio routine. Come enjoy an intense, efficient, low impact workout that will raise your heart rate and simulaneouly work your core.

 

-Please do not attend this class if you are working around any injuries. Jump Board is a high energy and Intermediate/Advanced level class. Injury Free and previous Pilates Reformer experience is highly recommended for this class.

Reformer Level  1 & 2

 

Experience the joy of movement while feeling lengthened, strengthened, and balanced while moving from the inside out. Our certified instructors will offer guidance through a series of exercises specifically tailored to match your ability level. The small class size guarantees that you'll receive plenty of guidance and support from our experienced instructors.

 

Reformer/Tower Combo Level 2

 

This class combines Mat, Reformer & Tower to give your body the ultimate mix of Pilates.

 

-Prior Tower or Cadillac knowledge is required. Please call Caroline to set up a session to learn the set up and fundamentals of tower. If you feel you already meet the prerequisites please contact us. 

Reformer Level 2

 

Join us in this challenging workout on the Pilates Reformer designed to tone and strengthen not just your core, but your entire body! Experience the joy of movement while feeling lengthened, strengthened, and balanced while moving from the inside out. Our Instructors will offer guidance through a series of exercises specifically tailored to match your ability level. The small class size guarantees that you''ll receive plenty of guidance and support from our experienced instructors.

 

-Clients must have prior Pilates reformer experience at our studio to attend this class.
